Researcher • Strategic Advisor • Corporate Strategy & response
I am a strategy, sustainability and energy transition professional with more than 15 years of experience working with companies, boards, investors and financial institutions across Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
My work sits at the intersection of corporate strategy, energy transition, sustainability and governance. I am particularly interested in how companies respond when the world around them changes — through shifts in regulation, technology, markets, investor expectations and wider societal priorities.
Throughout my career, I have advised organisations on strategic transformation, climate and energy transition, investment and business growth, sustainability strategy, governance and disclosure. I have also built and led advisory practices, developed new services and worked directly with senior executives and boards on complex strategic issues.
My background in the energy sector continues to shape how I approach sustainability. I see the transition not simply as an environmental or reporting challenge, but as a fundamental question of strategy, capital allocation, competitiveness and organisational change.
Alongside my advisory work, I am actively involved in research, teaching and thought leadership. I hold a PhD in Strategy and International Business from Warwick Business School, where my research examined how major energy companies respond strategically to climate change and the energy transition. I also hold an MBA from London Business School and postgraduate training in econometrics from the London School of Economics.
I contribute to discussions on sustainability, climate governance and corporate strategy through board education, university teaching, research, industry forums and published commentary.
Strategic Response is where I explore these issues more broadly — examining how policy, markets, technology, regulation and societal change are reshaping businesses, and what these shifts mean for corporate strategy and long-term value creation.
